Happy one!

Tristin has turned 1!! After 12 months of wondrous pooping, pee-ing, crying, laughing, crawling, eating, burping, screaming, giggling, diaper changing and feeding, our little dumpling has turned one. No longer baby, now (gulp) a toddler. C and I still can't believe it.

For his first birthday, C and I hosted the party with other dumplings and their parents at the Children's playground in the Golden Gate Park. When we saw and heard about the playground (which is the disneyland of playgrounds) and the beautiful carousel, we thought what better place than to have it there. So, mommy called 2 months in advanced to reserve the space, ordered and sent out fancy invitations to T's friends only to have selected the ONE day in October where the weather was cloudy, gloomy and incredibly cold (all the other weekends were incredibly warm and sunny - just our luck). Further, we realized after an hour into the party that kids Tristin's age don't actually care so much about the playground (because they can barely walk) and outsourcing the location to the park is actually quite a pain (especially when you refuse to use plastic serving plates and want the real one AND you decide to make everything yourself from scratch). Needless to say that by the end of the party. C and i were exhausted...and so were some of our friends and T's auntie S who hauled bags of stuff back and forth and helped out with the hosting of the party.

Unfortunately, C, Auntie S and I were so busy taking care of the party, our guests and T that we didn't have time to take shots but Adrian's mommy/daddy did take some great pictures and sent a link to us so thought I would share/post in case the few below didn't suffice:
