Last weekend, C and I took Tristie for some professional baby shots. As a celebration of his 6 months, we thought it was time to do some official shots of our little dumpling before he grows too big and we forget how round and soft he is (and aren't able to capture it in the same way as these professional shots do). So, we packed our gear and went to Menlo Park where Robin's home/studio was and spent an hour waving, calling T's name and shaking rattlers to get him to smile and look our way. While he barely cracked a smile for the shoot, he didn't fuss or cry too much. For most of the shoot, he was a good, calm baby. As I was particularly interested in black and white shots and having close-ups of his body parts (hands, feet, thighs, etc.), most of the photos posted (as you shall see) are colorless and close-up shots of random body parts.
These days, T feels like he's growing (physically) so fast. Just last week, we put him in an exersaucer-like toy I bought him a month ago and his toes barely touched the ground. One week later (this past Friday), his toes were touching the ground and he was able to move himself around in it. Amazing how much change an infant can undergo in just 5 days!
Since we didn't take many pictures this week and I haven't gotten around to taking any today, I thought we'd use these lovely professional-like shots as our official posting for the week :-)
